A Minnesota native, raised in the arrowhead capital of Duluth. In the land of ‘where sail meets rail,’ Mike always showed an aptitude for creativity and a tenaciousness to keep at something until it meets his demanding standards.

During his college years, Mike used to sell prints of his photography. In an area where professional landscape photographers thrive, it took something special be featured in local galleries.

After college, Mike took eight years of voiceover lessons and was rewarded with acceptance to the exclusive Minneapolis agency, NUTS Ltd. He has done work for numerous clients including General Mills, Hormel, Mayo Clinic, Tennant Company, Minnesota Historical Society, and more.

At the suggestion of a casting agent friend, Mike expanded his capacity at NUTS and joined Meredith Model Agency to include print and on-camera acting. Clients have included GCR Tires, Hiway Federal Credit Union, and Ford Motor Co.

In 2017, Mike began volunteering with KFAI Community Radio, 90.3 FM in Minneapolis and at kfai.org. He was given the Friday night (8:00-10:00pm) time slot to produce and host his weekly music program, “The UltraSonic Gin & Tonic.” He also joined KFAI’s Cart Crew, doing voiceover work and writing promotional spots for station promotion, pledge drives, fundraising, etc.
